About
Ridges draws inspiration from the traditional dances, rhythms, and atmospheres of Albania, Croatia, and North Macedonia, transforming inherited movement languages into a contemporary choreographic expression.
Through precise footwork, circular trajectories, and shifting rhythmic patterns that slip out of expected structures, the performance creates a dynamic and evolving stage landscape. Movement appears not as a literal reference to tradition, but as its echo—embedded in the body, breath, and collective presence of the performers.
As spatial relations continuously transform, Ridges blurs the boundaries between identity, memory, and contemporary expression, giving rise to a fluid and evolving movement language.
